11/14/2016 At the beginning of October we welcomed Annette Hult as our new Chief Risk Officer (CRO) to head of our new risks and security organisation. She is also the newest member of Bankgirot’s executive management.
Bankgirot is establishing a Risks & Security organisation to meet stakeholder expectations as regards demands and requirements. The world is becoming increasingly mobile, and new technology and new regulations are creating increasingly more opportunities and conditions. This new organisation will ensure that work with risks and security is well coordinated under Annette’s management, thereby strengthening our overview and monitoring.
“My three main priorities are to establish a clear framework for risks and security, to act in an advisory role in the field and to find appropriate tools to validate our risk management,” explains Annette Hult, Bankgirot’s new CRO.
Annette has long and extensive experience from a number of fields in risks and security from the financial sector. She most recently worked as Head of Risk & Regulation for Swedbank’s Large Corporates & Institutions business area, where she built up a risk management unit focused on operational risks, information security, money laundering and compliance.
With this solid background and qualifications in computer science and behavioural science, we are confident that Annette will bring new expertise to the table that will help Bankgirot develop.
“During my first month at Bankgirot, I’ve been warmly received by the organisation. My point of departure is that risk management should act as an enabler for Bankgirot to reach its goals. It’s exciting to be here and to assist with Bankgirot’s recently launched change work, an initiative that is influenced by not only external factors but also internal investments in employees’ personal development and continual improvement work,” Annette ends.
